Documents Required for NGO Darpan Registration
- Registration certificate of the NGO/entity
- PAN card of the NGO
- PAN and Aadhaar cards of three members of the NGOs’ executive committee
Who can Register NGO Darpan?
The following organisations can register on the NGO Darpan portal:
- NGOs
- VOs
- Charitable Society
- Charitable associations
- Charitable trust
- Section 8 companies
However, individuals cannot register on the NGO Darpan portal.

Eligibility for NITI Aayog Registration
- Any organization or institution that is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, or under any relevant Act of Parliament can apply for NITI Aayog registration.
- ● Companies that are registered under the Companies Act, 1956 or 2013 can also register.
- ● NGOs, trusts, & cooperative societies are also eligible to register with NITI Aayog.
- ● The organization must not have been blacklisted by any government agency or regulatory authority.
- ● The organization’s work should have a tangible impact on society, such as job creation, poverty alleviation, or environmental sustainability.
